The Last Run
for ZALANDO

To promote winter sports fashion on Zalando in Switzerland, we gave winter sports fashion the big stage it really deserved. How? We created brand love by writing snowboard history. For this, we asked former Swiss Olympic Champion Iouri Podladtchikov to rock the half pipe one last time after he suddenly had to retired due to injuries – a feel good story for a whole nation.

In a fully integrated campaign, Iouri promoted his event by telling his story and showcasing winter sports fashion with edits on Zalando. And he even got to design a limited Last Run Jacket. But the coolest thing about it: the story was all over the news in Switzerland. Oh, and if it matters: it won some creative awards as well.

Personal highlight: Next to thinking about the concept, live event ideas, media assets, all the copywriting that had to be done and being a witness of snowboard history, I got to write the very last scene in the promotion trailer, too. And it turned out to be as epic as I imagined it to be.
